Located on Main Street in the Historic District of Coalport, Pennsylvania, Kann's B&B Lodge was formerly known as the Greinader Hotel.  This hotel was built in 1934 on the same site of the original "Mansion House" after a devastating fire destroyed the building.

The notable Greinader Hotel—also known at one time as “Hotel Royal”--was once a landmark for Coalport, with people traveling as far away as Pittsburgh to visit, lodge and dine in this noteworthy hotel.  Regrettably, through time, the decline of the coal industry, and with the business long-since sold, the hotel came into disrepair.  However, Homer and Deb Kann of Tyrone visualized the potential that both the building… as well as the town had--and are convinced it will come alive again with the proper purpose, planning and preparation

Breakfast is buffet style with pancakes, choice of bacon, ham, sausage, eggs, homefries, toast, coffee and juice.   On the go?  Bag lunches are available.  A delicious dinner can be ready in your apartment when you come in from your travels for the evening.

In the same building, we have a retail Country Gift Shop and coming soon: "Amish-style" dry goods and a Delicatessen--for light lunchtime fare!  In addition, we offer catering for any size groups. 

If you reminisce about times-past, please make our Bed & Breakfast Lodge your exclusive place to stay in Coalport and, while here, visit the museum and other shops of the area.  You will be so glad you did!

Presently, there are two furnished ‘apartments’ available for rent, as well as one suite with a queen-sized bed.  The apartment on the second floor will sleep six, which includes:  (1) full-size bed and (2) queen-size sleeper sofas. 

The apartment on the third floor will sleep four with a queen-sized bed and a queen-size sleeper-sofa.  Both apartments have fully-equipped kitchens, and towels are provided for guest use.
